BEER STABILIZERS (STABIFIX)

Stabifix, a German company, produces stabilizers based on silica and stabilizers of polyphenols in beer. All products are designed to stabilize beer and are insoluble, so they can be used in accordance with the German beer law.

Protein stabilizing/removing agents

Description

There are three types of protein stabilizers in beer:

  • HYDROGELS, type Stabifix W and WMF with higher water content.
  • HYDRATED XEROGELS with lower water content (Stabifix EXTRA and Stabiquick SELECT).
  • XEROGELS with minimal water content and high activity (Stabifix SUPER, STORONG, and NT).

Polyphenol stabilizing/removing agents

Description

Stabiclear is PVPP and is intended to stabilize polyphenols in beer.

Agents for accelerated sedimentation of yeast

Description

Stabisol is a liquid silica intended for faster sedimentation of yeast and other solid particles in beer. It is dosed into the lying tanks after the fermentation. Operating time is 12 to 48 hours.

STABISOL CRAFT is a liquid silica intended for faster sedimentation of craft beer in the so-called dry-hopping method. The advantage of using this agent is that we significantly increase the rate of yeast sedimentation in the tank and improve the clarity of the beer without binding the aroma that was added during the dry hopping process.
