Terrestrial scanners of the Riegl
Description
Terrestrial scanners of the Riegl VZ200-VZ600 series for terrestrial scanning of architectural and other construction objects, archaeological sites, as well as monitoring and inspection of major industrial facilities and installations. The VZ400 type 3D laser scanner is used at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, University of Ljubljana.

Riegl VQ and VUX series laser scanners designed for aerial scanning using helicopters or drones. The RIEGL RiCOPTER is an unmanned aerial vehicle with an integrated scanner. It is used for accurate scanning of agricultural land, open-cast mines, various terrains such as canyons, urban settlements, various architectural sites, historic buildings, as well as various infrastructures (roads, railways, power lines, and pipelines). Special versions of scans enable topographic monitoring, as well as radiological control and gas tightness control.

Riegl VZ 400 series laser scanner
Description
Riegl VZ 400 series laser scanner intended for scanning major and serious traffic accidents as well as assisting in forensic investigations. A special area of application is the scanning of serious traffic accidents and assistance in forensic investigations. Riegl scanners have been used by the Slovenian police for several years. Using a Riegl scanner, the entire area of the accident is scanned in a few minutes, as the scanner together with the camera captures all the details from the scene. This significantly shortens the time of traffic accident analysis, as in the past the police officers had to photograph the scene and manually enter all the data on the measurements. With the help of the software, we can later get all the desired data and measurements from the 3D scan.

RiSCAN PRO enables the operator to process scans including sensor configuration, visualization, and manipulation of data and their archiving. RiSCAN PRO software runs on different operating systems. With the RIEGL RiPANO software, the user can visualize terrestrial scans, and the program is compatible with CAD software.
