The company Berson from the Netherlands has been producing industrial UV systems for water disinfection in the processes of drinking water preparation and wastewater treatment since 1972.

Given that most wastewater is returned to watercourses after the treatment process and because the legislation in this area is becoming stricter, UV systems are a favourable solution in terms of microbiological parameters of treated wastewater.

The company produces both open types of systems that are installed in the reservoirs themselves and closed systems that are mounted on pipelines through which water is pumped.
