Every beer drinker likes a good Pils, Lager or strong ale. By the time the beer refreshingly tickles our palate, breweries such as Heineken, Warsteiner, Karlsberg or San Miguel will have devoted a lot of effort into guaranteeing an unmistakable taste and flavour, purity, freshness and shelf life. For filtration, stabilization and beer recovery they rely on filter equipment and filter materials from SeitzSchenk. For beer filtration all kieselguhr filtration systems are available to our customers. These range from classical NIRO plate and frame filters, ZHF horizontal filters through to ECOFLUX® candle pre-coat filters. Filter materials such as kieselguhr, Fibroklar and upgraded cellulose for the formation of stable filter cakes complete the broad range.

We are the single supplier for one of the three largest enzyme producers in the world and renowned companies such as Coca Cola rely on our know-how for the filtration of sugarIn other areas such as the production of edible oils, pectin or baker's yeast we have clearly demonstrated our capabilities. SeitzSchenk filter sheets represent modern depth filter media based on cellulose. They retain impurities both mechanically as well as by adsorptive forces. For most grades specially upgraded cellulose fibres are used with additions of fine grades of kieselguhr and perlites as well as synthetic polymers.

SeitzSchenk filter cartridges are available in lengths of 250, 500, 750 and 1000 mm, and they can be supplied with all customary adapters. The filter cartridges can be fitted into most commercially available cartridge housings.

Economical filtration is often only possible by the addition of filter aids. Filter aids facilitate increases in output or optimization of the filtration run, especially in case of products containing non-soluble solids which prevent the formation of a permeable filter cake.
